President John Dramani Mahama has called on church leaders to actively engage in national discourse and advocate for social and economic justice.
Speaking to a gathering of prominent clergy members in Kumasi on Sunday, he emphasised the importance of collaboration between religious leaders and national authorities. "We must foster ongoing dialogue between church leaders and national authorities.
The church has a voice that must be heard in the national discourse," President Mahama stated.
He highlighted the critical role that the church can play in addressing pressing social and economic challenges, advocating for policies that uplift the poor and vulnerable, and building a Ghana where justice and prosperity reign.
