The Ghana Police Service has arrested suspect Yaw Koranteng at Nsawam in the Eastern Region for being in possession of a device suspected to be the property of the Electoral Commission (EC). The suspect is currently in Police custody assisting with investigations. Meanwhile, the Police Service has informed the EC of the arrest and invited them to establish whether or not the device belongs to them. In a brief statement, the Police noted that "as the investigation into this incident continues, we would like to take this opportunity to thank all stakeholders for their continuous support to ensure security, law and order during this election period and beyond."
