The Minority has boycotted a three-day orientation programme for Members of the 9th Parliament.

The event is currently taking place at the Volta Serene Hotel in Ho.

Their decision stems from concerns about the venue selection and the associated costs, which they believe are politically motivated.

Speaker of Parliament, Alban Sumana Kingsford Bagbin, disclosed during the programme's opening session that the Minority, consisting of members of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), officially communicated their decision to opt out on the night of Friday, February 28.
