Deputy National Communications Director of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Jennifer Queen, has expressed gratitude to former President Akufo-Addo for not giving her any appointment.

According to the outspoken politician, she would have, by now, been harassed, persecuted, and arrested by the Mahama-led government on flimsy charges, just as has been done to some members of the NPP.

Speaking on Angel FM, as monitored by GhanaWeb, Jennifer Queen, known for her vociferousness, stated that not serving on any institution's board during President Akufo-Addo's government has given her peace of mind. "Do you not think that if former President Akufo-Addo had appointed me to the board of an institution with no significant financial rewards, by this time, the Mahama government would have caused my arrest long ago?

Sometimes, it is good not to have any political appointment.
