The Governor of the Bank of Ghana, Dr.
Johnson Asiama, is scheduled to appear before Parliament on Wednesday, March 5, 2025, to address concerns regarding the construction of the central bank's new head office.
This follows a request from NDC Members of Parliament in August 2023 for detailed information on the project's financing, cost, scope, and timelines.
The previous administration of the Bank of Ghana (BoG) defended its decision to continue building the new head office despite posing a significant loss of ₵10.5 billion in 2023.
