The Greater Accra Regional Minister, Linda Akweley Ocloo, has gotten netizens talking after joining a clean-up exercise taking place at the Madina Market in Accra.
Ocloo, in a video making rounds online, is seen holding a broom and tongs to pry out rubbish from the dirty gutter.
The minister is surrounded by waste management workers and security officials as she carries out her actions.
The Madina market clean-up is part of a series of events Ocloo has introduced in her bid to make Accra Ghana's cleanest city, an aim that none of her predecessors, despite their promises, were able to accomplish.
