The Appointments Committee of Parliament will later resume its vetting process today, Friday, February 28, 2025, to assess the nomination of Brogya Genfi as Deputy Defence Minister-designate.

Also scheduled for vetting are Gizella Akushika Tetteh-Agbotui, nominated as Deputy Minister for Works, Housing, and Water Resources, and Rita Naa Odoley Sowah, nominated as Deputy Minister for Local Government, Chieftaincy, and Religious Affairs.

Several ministerial nominees have already undergone vetting and received approval.

However, on February 26, the Minority in Parliament opposed the approval of Deputy Attorney General and Justice Minister-designate Alhassan Suhuyini, Deputy Minister-designate for Roads and Highways, and two others.
