The Minority Caucus in Parliament has said that the Mahama-led government is characterized by heightened insecurity and mass termination of the appointments of Ghanaian youth.

Dr.

Stephen Amoah, the Member of Parliament for Nhyiaeso, on behalf of the Caucus, presented its "True State of the Nation Address" during a news conference at Parliament House in response to the President's address to Parliament on Thursday.

The lawmaker stated that in less than 100 days in office, Mahama's government had committed various "atrocities," including mass violations of the human rights of Ghanaians and uncertainties regarding the direction of the economy. "I wish to remind the President and his government that he is taking us backward to the era of 'dumsor,' which was also characterized by high and unimaginable electricity tariffs," he pointed out.
