The Ashanti Regional Police Command has confirmed the arrest of 21-year-old Daniel Tuffuor, a final-year student at Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST), in connection with the untimely death of Miss Joana Deladem Yabani.
Tuffuor, reportedly in a relationship with the late Miss Yabani, has been taken into custody for questioning, the university authorities said in a statement on Thursday, February 27.
Miss Yabani, a final-year student pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Biological Sciences, was found dead at about 5:00 a.m.
on February 27, 2025, near the KNUST Disability and Rehabilitation Centre by the KNUST Security Services.
