Majority Leader in Parliament, Mahama Ayariga has said President Mahama's State of the Nation Address (SONA) will restore hope for Ghanaians.
Addressing the House after the President has delivered his SONA, Mahama Ayariga noted that despite the grim picture about the state of the economy, the President has assured that he will reset the country.
He said Members of the Majority Caucus will support the President through any means possible to revive the economy. "Mr.
Speaker what has happened to our economy and the presentation that has been made says it all, it is sad, it is unfortunate but His Excellency, the President has brought us hope, hope for the youth of this country, hope for the women, hope for the 'Okada' riders, hope for the private sector, hope for students and hope for ordinary Ghanaians who did everything to bring him to power. "We have no doubt that every thing outlined here gives hope and this House will support His Excellency to deliver on his commitment but more importantly, this House will support his Excellency to deliver on the promise of accountability," Ayariga stated.
