President Mahama has vowed to revive the country's economic mess.
The President made the bold declaration during his first State of the Nation Address on Thursday, February 27, 2025 in his second term.
John Mahama stated that he will fix the economy because it is the reason Ghanaians voted him into power. "Mr.
Speaker, today is inspired by the Almighty God and propelled by the massive mandate given to me by the good people of Ghana, I am moved to make a purposeful and bold declaration that I John Dramani Mahama, I will fix the economic crisis confronting the country and rest it on a path of growth and prosperity," he said in Parliament.
