The Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST) has initiated a full-scale investigation following the heartbreaking death of Miss Joana Deladem Yabani, a fourth-year Biological Sciences student.
Her lifeless body was discovered near the KNUST Disability and Rehabilitation Centre in the early hours of February 27, 2025.
According to an official statement issued by the university, security personnel received a distressing report at approximately 5:00 a.m.
about the presence of a female body on campus. "The body was promptly transported to the University Health Services, where she was confirmed dead," the statement read.
