President John Dramani Mahama has announced government's plans to explore public-private partnership to address accommodation crisis in tertiary institutions.

He indicated that government is determined to expand access and align tertiary education with national goals particularly in STEM [Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics].
In this regard, the President revealed that government will this year conduct a feasibility study on the new public universities and campuses of the existing public universities in the six new regions [Savannah, North East, Western North, Oti, Bono East, Ahafo- Regions].
