President John Dramani Mahama has made it clear that his focus is on finding solutions to Ghana's problems rather than lamenting or assigning blame.
Delivering the State of the Nation Address (SONA) in Parliament on Thursday, February 27, he reiterated his commitment to tackling the country's economic and social challenges head-on.
His remarks come amid calls from the Minority in Parliament, who have demanded that he substantiate his claims that the previous administration mismanaged the economy through alleged criminal negligence. "Mr.
Speaker, it is not my style to shift blame when confronted with challenges," President Mahama stated. "My approach is to work hard and resolve them.
