The 2025 State of the Nation Address (SONA) by President John Dramani Mahama on Thursday, February 27, 2025, started with a lot of light moments.
One of these moments was during the introduction of the dignitaries at the event.
After the Speaker of , , introduced the only former president at the event, John Agyekum Kufuor, the MPs started chanting former President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo's name.
A female MP is then heard asking on top of her voice in the Twi dialect, "And so where is Nana Addo?" The Speaker reiterated, "Honourable members, please, we are recognising only those present," with a smile on his face.
