A sharp contrast emerged in Parliament on Thursday as Members of Parliament from the opposition New Patriotic Party (NPP) arrived in black attire, while their counterparts from the ruling National Democratic Congress (NDC) wore all-white outfits.

The symbolic dress code coincides with President John Dramani Mahama's first State of the Nation Address (SONA) since beginning his second term.

Mahama's address is expected to unveil his Resetting Ghana agenda, focusing on economic recovery, job creation, and national stability.

With rising inflation, high unemployment, and economic difficulties, Ghanaians and key stakeholders are eager to hear concrete solutions from the president.
