According to him, some of the beneficiaries of the Ghost Names scandal at the Authority have absconded.

He says he has asked that the assets be traced and frozen until investigations into the scandal are over.

The President, who made this known while delivering the State of the Nation Address (SONA), said, "Such brazen theft of public funds cannot go unpunished," adding that more than 80,000 ghost names could have yielded the suspects huge sums every month".
