The retrieved BVD The Nsawam Police Command is investigating an alleged case involving a Biometric Verification Device (BVD) found in the possession of 52-year-old Samuel Yaw Koranteng at Nsawam, in the Eastern Region. According to reports from William Atamudzi, the NDC National Deputy Welfare Director, the Nsawam Constituency leadership received a tip-off that the suspect was attempting to sell a BVD in the township. To retrieve the device, they lured the suspect and negotiated to purchase it for GHC100.00. The suspect allegedly wrapped the BVD in a black polythene bag before handing it over to the undercover buyers, who were members of the NDC and intelligence operatives. The suspect was subsequently arrested, and details of the Biometric Verification Device, along with his personal information taken before he was handed over to the Nsawam Police Command.
