The Deputy Attorney General and Justice Minister-designate, Justice Srem-Sai, has pledged his full support for legislative measures aimed at preventing politically exposed persons, including political appointees and public officials, from acquiring state lands at discounted prices.
This commitment comes amid growing public concern over the extent to which politicians and their associates have been able to secure state assets, often at significantly reduced rates.
Justice Srem-Sai made the declaration during his vetting before Parliament's Appointments Committee on Wednesday.
