Leading member of the Convention People's Party (CPP), Kwame Jantuah Esq., has called on President John Dramani Mahama to revert the name of Jubilee House to its original designation, Flagstaff House.
Speaking in an interview on GHOne TV, Jantuah questioned the historical and constitutional justification for naming the entry of the country after a figure linked to the overthrow of a legitimate government. "How do you name the entry of your country after someone who overthrew a legitimate government?
It flies in the face of the constitution," he argued.
The debate over the name of the presidential residence has been ongoing for years, shifting with government changes.
