Former Mion MP who contested on the ticket of the NDC, Mohammed Aziz has dismissed claims that the on-going termination of last-minute appointments and recruitments is a partisan act by the President.
He explained in an interview on TV3's New Day, February 26 that the revocation of appointments is based on financial challenges and government's plan to offset the huge debt inherited from the NPP administration. "We have cited financial reasons for that.
If they draw in this argument, is that to admit that they recruited only NPP foot soldiers into public sector and if that was true, is that right?
We have given financial reasons anybody outside government can say anything," he noted.
