Safety protocols are being implemented in the Ghana Premier League in a bid to curtail hooliganism, according to the General secretary of the Ghana Football Association secretary, Prosper Harrison Addo.
The Ghana Premier League (GPL), after a brief hiatus, is poised to make a comeback on March 7, marking the first time footballing activities will resume since the league's suspension following the unfortunate demise of popular Kotoko fan, Nana Pooley.
The league's return is a welcome relief for fans, who have been eagerly awaiting the resumption of hostilities.
In the meantime, the Ghana Football Association (GFA) has been hard at work, pushing ahead with reforms aimed at improving the league.
