Alhassan Suhuyini, the Deputy Minister Designate for Roads and Highways, has reaffirmed the government's commitment to completing the Eastern Corridor Road project, describing it as a top priority for the administration.

Speaking during his vetting before Parliament on Wednesday, February 26, 2025, Suhuyini assured Ghanaians that the project would be tackled with the urgency and seriousness it deserves.

The Eastern Corridor Road, a critical infrastructure project aimed at improving connectivity and boosting economic activities in the eastern part of Ghana, has been a long-standing priority for successive governments.

However, delays in its completion have raised concerns among citizens and stakeholders, particularly those in the affected regions.
