Hajia Safia Mohammed has officially resigned from her position as the National Coordinator of the Ghana School Feeding Programme (GSFP), effective 24th February 2025.
Her resignation letter dated 12th February 2025 was addressed to the Minister for Gender, Children and Social Protection (MoGCSP) through the Chief Director of the Ministry.
Portions of the letter read: "I write to officially notify your good offices of my resignation as the National Coordinator of the Ghana School Feeding Programme effective 24th February 2025.
I appreciate the opportunities I have had while serving in this role, and I'm proud of the accomplishments and progress made by our team during my tenure." "However, I have decided to explore new opportunities, hence the need to resign. "Thank you all for an incredible working relationship, and I wish the Programme *continues on the success and the structures we have built* in order to achieve the shared objectives of GSFP."
