Correspondence from Ashanti Region As the Ashanti Regional Fire Command continues its Education Week activities, the Ashanti Regional Fire Commander, ACFOII Peter Tetteh, is making a direct appeal to the public for increased cooperation in preventing fires and protecting lives.

Tetteh emphasised the critical need for community support during an interview with the media, following a street float held in the Kumasi Metro as part of the week-long campaign.

The Education Week, themed "Key to National Development and Foundation for Our Safety and Security," aims to raise awareness about fire safety practices and the role of the Fire Service within the Ashanti Region.

Tetteh stressed that the Fire Service's effectiveness is heavily reliant on the public's willingness to cooperate.
