A High Court in Accra has discharged former Minister of Works and Housing, , and the three other people involved in the Saglemi Housing case.
According to a post by broadcaster Serwaa Amihere on X, the former minister and the three other accused were discharged by the court on Tuesday, February 24, 2025.
This was after state prosecutors officially informed the High Court that the Attorney General had dropped charges against the accused persons.
The Attorney General and Minister of Justice, , dropped the case against Alhaji , a former Minister of Works and Housing, and four others who had been charged with 70 counts of causing financial loss to the state over the Saglemi Affordable Housing project.
