Former Minister of Railway Development, , has been invited by the National Intelligence Bureau (NIB) for questioning over the Ghana Sky Train project, according to a report by 3news.com.
The project was initiated in 2018 by the previous administration as a major infrastructure initiative to tackle traffic congestion, particularly in the Greater Accra Region.
Under the leadership of , Ghana signed a concession agreement with Africa Investment (Ai) Sky Train Consortium in 2019, with an estimated cost of $3 billion.
However, the project never took off, igniting concerns about its feasibility and financing.
