The National Celebrations Planning Committee (NCPC) has finalised activities for Ghana's 68th Independence anniversary, outlining a series of events to mark the occasion.
According to a statement released on Sunday, February 23, the celebrations will begin with the commemoration of the 28th February Crossroad Shooting Incident on Friday, 28th February 2025.
This will be followed by the finals of a nationwide school quiz competition on Sunday, 2nd March 2025, and a debate competition on Tuesday, 4th March 2025.
The President will host the annual School Children Awards Programme on Wednesday, 5th March 2025, leading up to the grand ceremonial parade at the forecourt of the presidency on Thursday, 6th March 2025.
