Member of Parliament (MP) for Yilo Krobo in the Eastern Region, Albert Tetteh Nyakotey, has taken a decisive step towards addressing the pressing sanitation needs of the area. The legislator has identified the situation as one of the direst needs of the people. The MP made the observation after commissioning a 12-seater toilet facility for the people of Plau. With only one dilapidated public place of convenience serving the people of the area, he explained that the need to put up the facility arose out of the necessity to complement the use of the only toilet serving the populace. The construction of the facility with parts of the MP's Common Fund and support from other stakeholders was the MP's first project after assuming the position in 2021.
