The Majority Leader and Member of Parliament for Bawku Central, , has emphatically stated that the (NDC) government has no regrets about revoking the appointments made by the (NPP) government in its final days.
Before the end of his tenure, former President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo appointed several individuals to government positions.
Speaking on the floor of Parliament on February 21, 2025, regarding the revocation of these appointments, Ayariga recalled that during the transition, the NDC had urged the outgoing NPP government not to make further recruitments since they were leaving office.
However, the NPP refused and proceeded with the appointments.
