Kuuzaa, who is receiving treatment at the Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital (KATH) after sustaining gunshot wounds.
Inspector Kuuzaa was attacked while returning from duty during the December 7, 2024, general elections in Atebubu, Bono East Region.
A social media post recently claimed that the officer had been abandoned by the service, sparking public concern.
