President John Dramani Mahama is set to deliver his first State of the Nation Address (SONA) on Thursday, February 27, 2025, as announced by Majority Leader Mahama Ayariga in Parliament on Friday, February 21.

This address, a constitutional requirement, will offer insights into the country's economic state, inherited challenges, and the administration's strategy for economic recovery.

According to Felix Ofosu Kwakye, Minister of State in charge of government communications, the President's speech will focus on Ghana's current economic situation, detailing the legacy of the previous administration and the government's roadmap for reviving the economy.

The address will set the stage for critical economic discussions, including the upcoming National Economic Dialogue, scheduled for March 3-4, 2025.
