At least 88 acres of land belonging to the Air Force Base Command in Takoradi, Western Region, have been taken over by encroachers.
These encroached lands are part of over 600 acres specifically demarcated by the central government for the establishment and operations of the Air Force base.
According to the military command, the encroachment continues to impact their operational effectiveness.
