The High Court has granted bail to Gregory Afoko, who has been accused of conspiring with the convicted Asabke Alangdi to murder the former New Patriotic Party (NPP) Upper East Regional Chairman, Adams Mahama.

The court granted Afoko bail in the sum of GH¢500,000 with two sureties, one of whom must be justified.

Afoko was accused of conspiring with Asabke Alangdi, who has since been convicted, in the 2015 acid attack that led to Mahama's death.

His bail comes after numerous failed attempts over the years.
