The International Or­ganisation for Migration (IOM) yesterday donated assorted Information Communi­cation Technology (ICT) equip­ment and logistics to the Ghana Immigration Service (GIS) to support them in managing migra­tion effectively.

The items include desktops computers, mobile phones, projectors, generators, and other office equipment.

The Chief of Mission of the IOM, Ms Fatou Diallo Ndiaye, presenting the items urged the GIS to make good use of the equipment presented to them. "I am pleased to present these items to the Ghana Immigration Service (GIS) to support your efforts in managing migration effectively.

I urge you to make good use of these resources, which include ICT equipment and logistics, to enhance your administrative and operational capabilities," she said. "Your dedication to promoting safe and informed migration is commendable, and I am confi­dent that these items will contrib­ute to your success," she added.
