Park Kyongsig, the Korean Ambassador to Ghana, paid a courtesy call to the Minister of Health, , at the Ministry of Health in Accra on Febraury 19, 2025.
The visit was part of ongoing efforts to enhance bilateral cooperation in healthcare infrastructure, medical training, and health management at the district and sub-district levels.
Ambassador Park Kyongsig reaffirmed Korea's long-standing commitment to supporting Ghana's healthcare development, particularly in areas such as maternal and child health, infectious disease control, and capacity building for healthcare workers. "Korea is dedicated to strengthening Ghana's health systems to ensure accessible and efficient medical services for all citizens," Ambassador Park stated during the meeting.
Accompanying the Ambassador were representatives from the Korea International Cooperation Agency (KOICA) and the Korea Foundation for International Healthcare (KOFIH).
