Former Vice President of Ghana Dr Mahamudu Bawumia has asked the President to reconsider his decision to terminate the appointments of Ghanaians employed by the previous government.

A directive from the Chief of Staff has led to mass termination of appointments of Ghaaians who were employed after the December 7 election.

Regardless of calls on the government to reconsider their decision to displace workers after promising the people of Ghana jobs, the Spokesperson for the government, Felix Kwakye Ofosu insists that the termination is not reversible.

Some elements in the government have pointed to the fact that the previous government also engaged in similar things when they took over power in 2017 and therefore justify the current move by the government.
