The National Union of Ghana Students (NUGS) has officially informed the Greater Accra Regional Police Command of its planned demonstration against the West African Examinations Council (WAEC).
The protest, scheduled for Tuesday, February 25, 2025, at 9:00 AM, will take place at Obra Spot, Circle, Accra.
The demonstration follows concerns over the recent withholding and cancellation of results for some students who sat for the 2024 West African Senior School Certificate Examination (WASSCE).
NUGS President Daniel Korley Botchway condemned WAEC's actions, stating, "We see this as an injustice and an abuse of discretionary power by WAEC.
