The Central Regional Director of Education, Mr.
Emmanuel Essuman, has announced the Ghana Education Service's (GES) preparations to pilot the introduction of the Chinese language into the school curriculum across the country.
He noted that Chinese language education has become an important addition to the educational landscape in the Central Region.
He further highlighted the role of the Confucius Institute at the University of Cape Coast (CIUCC) in enhancing the region's academic offerings.
