The Civil and Local Government Staff Association, Ghana (CLOGSAG) has directed its members to prepare for a nationwide industrial action scheduled for Thursday, February 20, 2025.
The planned strike is in protest against the continued tenure of Samuel Adom Botchway at the Births and Deaths Registry, despite previous government assurances that he would be removed from office.
According to CLOGSAG, Mr.
Botchway's participation in the office's budget hearing at the Ministry of Local Government, Chieftaincy, and Religious Affairs on Monday, February 17, 2025, confirms that he remains in his role-contrary to government commitments.
