The Member of Parliament for Akim Swedru, Kennedy Nyarko Osei, has vowed that a future NPP government will reinstate public service workers dismissed by the John Mahama-led NDC administration.
In a Facebook post monitored by GhanaWeb, the legislator assured affected individuals that not only would they be reinstated, but they would also receive full compensation for the years spent out of work.
According to Mr Osei Nyarko, the dismissals were politically motivated and an attack on democratic principles.
He emphasised that the NPP is committed to reversing what he described as the NDC's "undemocratic and unconscionable behaviour." "We will correct these injustices when the NPP returns to power.
