The German branch of the main opposition NPP has taken a stern swipe at the Special Prosecutor Kissi Agyebeng for declaring former finance minister Ken Ofori-Atta a wanted fugitive.
According to a press release signed by its Communications Director, Nana Osei Boateng, it challenged the OSP that the foundation of any just society is the principle that an individual is innocent until proven guilty.

This fundamental tenet of justice, however, appears to be under siege in Ghana, where the Office of the Special Prosecutor (OSP), under the leadership of Kissi Agyebeng, has embarked on what can only be described as a politically motivated witch-hunt and a personal score against former Finance Minister Ken Ofori-Atta.
