The Minority Leader in Parliament, , has condemned the government's directive to revoke the appointments of public service staff made after December 7, 2024.

Speaking to JoyNews about the incident, Afenyo-Markin stated that the revocation of public servants' appointments portrays a negative image of the country. "These are Ghanaians who have been employed, who are being thrown out of employment onto the streets.

We don't need it as a country.

It is not good for the image of the country and it is creating some deep pain amongst people," he said.
