Former Member of Parliament for Mion, Mohammed Aziz, has dismissed claims that the investigation into former Finance Minister Ken Ofori-Atta by the Office of the Special Prosecutor (OSP) is politically motivated.
Speaking on TV3's New Day, he emphasized that the probe is not an NDC-led persecution but an independent process initiated by an office established under the previous Akufo-Addo administration. "In any case, this cannot be seen as a political persecution.
After all, it is not the Attorney-General or any NDC officer who has declared him fugitive.
This OSP was appointed by the same Akufo-Addo and so this has nothing to do with the NDC and our government," Aziz stated.
