Ghana Premier League side Bechem United has placed a GH¢100,000 bounty on the killer of Kotoko fan Francis Yaw Frimpong, popularly known as Nana Pooley.

In their effort to combat hooliganism in football, Bechem United has pledged this reward to anyone who provides credible information leading to the arrest of those responsible for Pooley's death.

The club says the decision has become necessary as their team doctor, Dr Achau, is facing pressure from his family not to travel for away matches due to safety concerns.

Following Monday's court proceedings, Asante Kotoko's Communication Director, Sarfo Duku, revealed that police have identified the suspect responsible for the stabbing.
