Although former National Petroleum Authority (NPA) Chief Executive Officer (CEO), Mustapha Hamid is being investigated by the Office of the Special Prosecutor, he has not been declared wanted.
This is according to a post he shared via his social media.
According to him, reports suggesting he has been declared wanted are malicious and an attempt to dent his reputation. "As a matter of public record, at the time of making this post, I have not been invited by the Office of the Special Prosecutor, about any investigations whatsoever." His post debunking the reports said "Yesterday, Joy News published a false and defamatory story about my person.
According to the fake news circulated on their social media channels, the Office of Special Prosecutor has declared me wanted.
