Former Member of Parliament for Assin Central in the Central Region, , met the Ashanti Regional Chairman of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Bernard Antwi Boasiako, popularly known as Chairman Wontumi in Kumasi, during the Council of State election.
was in the Ashanti Region to witness the process, where he crossed paths with Wontumi.
The two had reportedly been at odds due to Wontumi's stance during the NPP's presidential primary in 2023.
However, in a video from the event, the two appeared cordial.
