The Minister for Interior, Muntaka Mohammed, has revealed that the government is set to undertake a comprehensive review and reform of Ghana's national security architecture to enhance professionalism and improve the effectiveness of security agencies.

Speaking during a visit to the Police Headquarters on February 18, 2025, the Minister reaffirmed the government's commitment to modernizing security institutions and equipping them with the necessary resources to safeguard the country. "The government has a comprehensive plan to review the entire national security architecture and implement reforms to ensure professionalism," he stated.

As part of the visit, Muntaka Mohammed held discussions with Inspector-General of Police (IGP) Dr.

George Akuffo Dampare on strengthening law enforcement capabilities and improving security operations.
