In a significant leadership transition at the Millennium Development Authority (MiDA), Alexander Mould has assumed the role of Acting Chief Executive Officer (CEO), bringing over three decades of expertise in finance, energy, and governance from both the private and public sectors.
During his inaugural address to the MiDA team, Mould emphasized his collaborative leadership style and his commitment to leveraging the organization's institutional knowledge. "I am, first and foremost, a people person," Mould stated. "I will be relying heavily on your expertise and institutional knowledge to bring me up to speed so we can collectively deliver the results expected from this important institution." Mould previously served as CEO of the National Petroleum Authority (NPA) and the Ghana National Petroleum Corporation (GNPC), spearheading transformative reforms that drove operational excellence.
At MiDA, he is expected to align the institution's objectives with the government's development priorities, particularly the proposed 24-hour economy program.
He outlined plans to engage with government stakeholders to explore MiDA's expanded role in national development, stressing the need for cross-ministerial collaboration to enhance project management and implementation.
