The Minister for Interior, Muntaka Mohammed, has commended Inspector-General of Police (IGP) Dr.
George Akuffo Dampare for his leadership in transforming the Ghana Police Service and improving its operational and infrastructural standards.
During his visit to the Police Headquarters on Tuesday, February 18, 2025, the Minister acknowledged the visible improvements in the police environment and service operations since his last visit in 2017. "I must commend the IGP for the progress and beautification of the place, the neatness, the uplifting of the service, and the positive changes he has implemented," he stated. "I am not a troublemaker, so I've not been to the police headquarters.
The last time I was here was in 2017.
